Grace attended and graduated from Citrus County Schools, going on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida. She began her career teaching at Crystal River Primary School; a high-risk, Title One school with 80% of the student population participating in the free or reduced breakfast and lunch program. While witnessing first-hand the impact the Blessings program was making in the lives of her students, Grace served as a Director for Citrus County Harvest. After several years of service on the board, she was hired as the Executive Director.
Grace is an active member of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Community Food Bank Agency Alliance, Community Alliance, Young Leaders’ Alliance and Zeta Tau Alpha Alumnae. She is the Co-Chair of the Chamber’s Young Professionals and the Membership Chair of her Rotary Club. Additionally, she is a graduate of Leadership Citrus, the recipient of the Rising Star Award from the Chamber of Commerce and the Service Above Self Award presented by the Rotary Club of Crystal River.
Christina graduated from Martin County Schools in South Florida. She immediately started her career in Retail Management working for a small local business in Stuart. She then went to work for one of the top 10 private communities in the United States, Admirals Cove in Jupiter, where she managed their Ship store and marina office. That opportunity led Christina to Gander Mountain, a nationwide retailer with 160 stores as an Assistant Store Manager for the Flagship store in Palm Beach.
After moving to Citrus County and starting her family she knew she wanted to make a difference in her community, to somehow give back and impact lives. Christina started her job at The Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA in June of 2016. She works in the Membership department and also maintains their People Helping People financial assistance program. In July of 2017 she also joined the Citrus County Harvest team as the new Program Coordinator.
